Currently, scholarship awards are only available to applicants in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

How does one apply for EMC Scholarship Funds?
Applications can be obtained from the domestic violence organization the applicant is associated with. It is generally expected that the organization will participate in the application process, mainly to provided support to their client.
Are the funds limited?
Generally, funds are not limited, as long as the student performs satisfactorily in addition to following their "student plan", and EMC overall available funds.
What is a "student plan"?
The student plan is a general layout of the educational classes the applicant will need to take in order to achieve their goal.
Can I change my "student plan"?
Yes, but a new student plan must be submitted and approved.
Do I have to apply to the fund for every class I want to take?
No, once you become an EMC scholar you do not need to apply for every new class as long as it is part of the approved student plan. You will be required to submit each semester’s grades and bills.
